So, You Want to Write a Book
Workshop
Ever dreamed of writing a novel? Joyce will be
conducting a three hour workshop on how to get started writing a book at the
Girl Guides of Canada Ottawa Area Training Day, on Saturday, November 5, 2005 at
Symmes Junior High School, 701 Boulevard du Plateau, Gatineau (Secteur Aylmer)
Quebec. Participants will learn the basics of manuscript preparation,
plot, characterization, dialogue and available resources for writers.
They will also learn how to market their work to publishers and agents, plus
tips on how to avoid the pitfalls that lie in wait for the beginning writer.
Attendees must be members of Girl Guides of Canada to register.
